Every wedding has its own unique charm, and Shriya and Ricky’s story is one for the books.
From the initial click of the camera, one could see an intimacy that only comes from 12 years of shared experiences. The roots of their tale traced back to their university days when the couple first crossed paths during college orientation. Bonding over a shared major in medical engineering, they forged a friendship that blossomed into a profound romantic connection, evident in stolen moments at the local Starbucks on campus.
In their journey, the couple saw many life events - graduating from a master’s program together and finding their new career ventures. Through it all they stood by each other.
There’s nothing you can’t do When you’re Together
After graduation, their professional paths diverged, with one relocating to Boston and the other to New Jersey. Despite the physical distance, they navigated the challenges of a long-distance relationship, often rendezvousing in New York City, a frequent midpoint for their reunions. The unexpected twist came on a whim, they announced their engagement and stole the spotlight, marking a joyous culmination of their journey together. Being entrusted with documenting their 12-year journey leading up to marriage was an honor that WSS will forever cherish.
